PHOTOGRAPHY: Dogs are a Woman’s Best Friend

Whoever said ‘diamonds are a girl’s best friend’ never had a dog. From Marilyn Monroe to Bridgette Bardot, Michelle Obama to HRH Queen Elizabeth II, it’s clear dogs have played a special role in women’s lives for decades. It was Marilyn Monroe who said, “Dogs never bite you. Just humans.” We can certainly relate!

To celebrate this unique bond, one of our favourite rescue charities, All Dogs Matter has teamed up with gourmet dog food company Cuffleberry & Co to host ‘Canines & Companions – Women & Their Dogs’, a unique exhibition of photos by fashion photographer Andrew Lamb.

Captured with their faithful friends are actress Michelle Collins, Rachel Oates and her insta-famous dog @Winnythecorgi, and Nina Amaddeo, from Les Néréides with her dog Django.
