Mulberry are obsessed with dogs and we are obsessed with Mulberry. The quintessentially British brand, which under the direction of Creative Director Emma Hill have been responsible for such covetable gems as the classic Bayswater, the Alexa and more recently the Del Rey, also turn their talented hands to designing a collection of luxury dog wear. Their new Autumn Winter 2012 collection of cozy hoodies and luxurious padded parkas are currently hitting stores – now that’s something to woof about.

“We love our four legged canine friends here at Mulberry and creating our dog collection each season is always a wonderful highlight,” says Creative Director, Emma Hill. For those of you who have seen one of their stunning runway shows, you will know that it’s a seasonal ritual for a Mulberry pooch to strut down the catwalk alongside one of their models.”Each Fashion Week the doggies are not forgotten, the star of the show is quite often our runway dog – The audience light up when the famous pup struts down the runway!” says Emma.

Perfect for dogs who need a little extra warmth in the winter, these luxe pieces are designed for style and durability.”For the dog coats we use the same patterns you’ll see in our womenswear and tailor them to fit all the shapes and sizes of man’s best friend. Four legs need to stay just as warm and snugly as two legs, so for Autumn Winter 2012 the Mulberry Dog has the most luxurious coat yet: a sheepskin trimmed and padded parka jacket in Zany Zig Zag or Tie Dye Tiger” says Emma.
